The First Four Months...

Time flies when you are having fun! Our jobs sure have kept us busy and on our toes to say the least, but we are so thankful for what we do!

Well, since our "Big Day", we have traveled a bit (Honeymoon on the East Coast!), laundry, watched our Rangers ALMOST win big, laundry, fixed all kinds of water issues in our duplex, laundry, attended too many funerals, held new life, and worked our tails off loving on kiddos at church and in my classroom.

We are getting pretty adjusted at this new life, but know that there will be something new everyday! Still trying to adjust to our life on the road though. We live halfway between our two jobs, and both have a 30min (give or take a few minutes) drive each way. I have never seen so many coyotes on and along the roads till this year, even ran over one.. oops! So things stay interesting! We still have a room full of boxes, and honestly, I don't expect that to change any time soon! BUT, our Christmas tree is up.... you heard me right.... and it's becoming more "Homey".

I was switched from a Social Studies teacher to a Science teacher after 3weeks of school, so I'm finally now getting the hang of something new. I feel like I study science more now than I did in high school or college! My kiddos are entertaining to say the least, but I enjoy them so much...especially when they want to listen to Christmas music while they work!! I can't believe that it is already the end of the 2nd 6 weeks, though!

Devin is staying super busy with his job right now. Football season has wrapped up, and basketball season is here, so things will not slow down for him. He is also working on his Boy's Ranch Christmas Project... and so far so good! Families are starting to shop for their sponsered kiddo, and we go shop for ours this weekend! I love buying Toys!
